Mission Statement  

The misson of Sumter County Schools is to graduate all students.

It is the mission of Americus Sumter High North - A 9th Grade Academy to assist all freshmen in making a smooth transition into high school, and in meeting the rigorous high school standards in order to graduate all students.

The theme for this year is "Saving a Generation One Child at a Time."

Americus Sumter High School North Campus has a current student enrollment of 335 students.

There are 24 teachers.

The curriculum covers core subjects including science, social studies, mathematics, and language arts. We also offer career preparatory classes in agriculture, computer applications, and engineering. Other courses include art, chorus, band, Army ROTC, health, and physical education.
